چکیده

Abstract Native to Southeast Asia, the spotted wing drosophila (SWD), Drosophila suzukii Matsumura, rapidly invaded America and Europe in past 20 years. As a crop pest of soft-skinned fruits with wide range host plants, it threatens fruit industry worldwide, causing enormous economic losses. To control this invasive species, an understanding its population dynamics structure is necessary. Here, we report genetics development SWD Germany from 2017–19 using microsatellite markers over 11 different sample sites. It first study that examines SWD’s genetic changes 3 years compared multiple international laboratory strains. Results show populations are highly homogenous without differences between or years, which indicates well adapted, migrate freely, invasions outside either did not take place negligible. Such high variability migration could allow for fast establishment species. This especially problematic regard ongoing spread species bear potential developing pesticide resistance, increase impact further future.

Initially greeted with deep skepticism, if not outright disbelief, this assemblage — named Afrotheria — and its shared evolutionary history is now widely accepted, and an overwhelming amount of genomic data as well as numerous other lines of supportive evidence have since been adduced. Long re...

Temporal and spatial variation of the phytoplankton community in the Chahnime Reservoirs-Sistan

This study investigated seasonal changes in density and diversity of phytoplankton, chlorophyll a content, and some environmental characteristics in the Sistan region during 2014. Totally, we detected 28 genera that belonged to five groups of Chlorophyta (12 genera), Bacilloriophyta (7 genera), Cyanophyta (5 genera), Dinophyta (3 genera), and Euglenophyta (1 genus). We observed that Chlorophyta...

Trapping of Drosophila suzukii

The spotted wing drosophila (Drosophila suzukii) is a newly introduced pest of soft fruits, stone fruits and grapes in Europe. Various trap types are used for monitoring and mass trapping of this pest. In Switzerland, “Gasser-Becherfalle” with a white lid and a liquid wine-vinegar based attractant is the most widely used trap type for both purposes. In order to improve efficiency of monitoring ...
